What happens to your records
Review.live keeps a durable record of your projects for as long as your company uses it, and says in advance what happens when it stops. These are our terms, not legal advice: how long you must keep project records for your own contracts, warranties or regulators is a question for your accountant or lawyer, and our export exists so you can keep them for as long as you need to.
While you subscribe
Nothing is ever deleted at a storage limit or because of a missed payment. Reaching a limit stops new uploads; a payment problem, after its grace period, stops the recording of new work. Reading, printing and exporting always continue.
When access ends
If a trial or subscription ends, your company's records stay readable and exportable in the product for 12 months. For the following 12 months they can be exported but not browsed. 24 months after access ended they are deleted. We email the company's owners and admins three times before that — at 11, 23 and 23½ months.
How to keep them
Any active subscription keeps every record and stops the clock. So does a note to us asking us to keep them, or a hold because a job is in dispute. You can also ask us to delete them sooner.
People who leave
Records of work belong to the company. When a member is removed, their access ends at once and their name stays on everything they recorded and signed. When a person asks for their own account to be deleted, their login and profile go; their name on the records stays.
What deletion means
Deletion removes the company's records from the product and moves its files into a 30-day quarantine, after which they are removed. Copies in our backups age out on their own — database copies within a year, file copies at deletion. After that nothing can be restored. Deletion is carried out by a person, after the notices, never by a timer alone.
Your own deletions
You can delete your own records at any time, including after your subscription ends. A deleted comment shows as deleted rather than disappearing, so a conversation keeps its shape.
